Seattle Seahawks legend Marshawn Lynch passes out free turkeys in Hawaii

Beast mode is lending a helping hand as Thanksgiving approaches.

pass out 200 free turkeys on O’ahu this week.

Lynch is captured by Hawaii’s KHON2 News distributing the turkeys in the streets, going up to cars at a stoplight:

Charitable acts are nothing new for Lynch, who for years has used his platform to support those in need in Seattle and his native Oakland, among other places.

The 34-year-old Lynch is one of the best beloved players in Seahawks history, helping the franchise to consecutive Super Bowl appearances in 2013 and 2014. He’s second in team history with 58 rushing touchdowns and fourth with 6,381 rushing yards, and responsible for some of the most memorable runs in NFL history.

After starring for the Seahawks from 2010-2015, Lynch made an extraordinary return to Seattle in 2019 when it needed running-back help, ending his semi-retirement. He had 12 carries for 34 yards in the 2019 regular-season finale against the 49ers, and added 18 carries for 33 yards and three scores in two playoff games.

Lynch, a five-time Pro Bowler and a 2012 first-team All-Pro selection, has not played in the NFL this season.
