While cruise vacations may seem far off in the distance, the CDC has lifted the no-sail order and has now entered into a conditional sailing protocol so cruise companies may prepare for welcoming guests once again.

It may be some time before cruising resumes in domestic waters, but now is a great time to plan ahead for future trips as seasonal sales like Black Friday and Cyber Monday focus on steep savings and a host of complimentary perks. Current cruise promotions apply to 2021 sailings and beyond, so if you’re contemplating a cruise for the next few years the time to save is now.

From scenic Alaska cruises to sun-filled Caribbean getaways, read on for a list of the best cruise deals this holiday season.

Carnival Cruises

Carnival’s Cyber Blowout Sale is on now through Sunday, November 29, so make sure to grab a deal soon. Current incentives include up to 30% savings off cruises with reduced deposits and free upgrades. Sailings take place through April 2023, so there’s no rush to sail away with these deals.

Save on a Baja Mexico voyage roundtrip from Long Beach, California, or board in Florida for a Caribbean family getaway. Or sail away on Panorama, one of Carnival’s hottest new ships sailing the Mexican Riviera. Carnival Panorama has a huge waterpark suitable for the whole family, an adult-only Serenity Club and incredible food ranging from Guy Fieri’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse to sushi and teppanyaki options.

Holland America

In addition to last-minute Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, Holland America is also offering limited time offers with a Save Now, Cruise Later package. This sale includes up to $2,300 in extra perks ranging from free drinks, included gratuities, a signature dining package and free WiFi.

In addition to these offers, Holland America is offering reduced deposits and a great flexibility plan so travelers can book with confidence thanks to an easy cancellation policy. Voyages on sale include guest-favorite Alaska sailings, Panama Canal voyages, European cruises and shorter sailings along the Pacific Coast.

Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, travelers will see amazing savings on future MSC Cruises. Bundled discounts translate to savings and perks of up to $1,400 through a variety of promotions, from hundreds of dollars off MSC’s best cruise fares, up to $200 in onboard credit and a Kids Sail Free promotion.

Cruise discounts are applicable on select 3- to 7-night sailings throughout the Caribbean, as well as abroad in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean. With the new MSC cruise with confidence program, guests have the flexibility to make changes or cancellations up to 48 hours prior to their cruise date for sailings departing on or before December 31, 2021.

Norwegian Cruise Line

Already available to the public, the Norwegian Cruise Line seasonal sale offers guests 30% off all sailings on all ships and all destinations. Included in this promotion, NCL guests can take advantage of incredible perks from free open bar and specialty dining, to free WiFi and shore excursions. Kids also sail free on select sailings. These promotions apply to sailings taking place between 2021 and 2023.

Norwegian Bliss, Encore and Sun provide great discounts for sailing Alaska in the coming year, while Caribbean cruises introduce passengers to Norwegian Encore and Norwegian Joy. NCL Encore debuted just last year and boasts and amazing at-sea speedway, Broadway productions including Kinky Boots and The Choir of Man and a robust selection of eateries including Onda by Scarpetta.

Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises is currently promoting the 2021 and 2022 cruise season with several special offers. Combine reduced cruise rates with a free drinks package or take advantage of a no-frills fare for steep discounts. Notably, Princess Cruises offers a variety of Seattle roundtrip itineraries, including 7-day sailings along the California coast and sailings into Alaska’s inside passage.

Princess has a new cruise with confidence program ensuring easier cancellations to accommodate guest needs. Plus, if you’re not yet sure where you’d like to sail next, there’s a special promo just for you: for gift card purchases made by December 7, Princess is offering a $50 bonus gift card when guests order a $500 gift card redeemable on future bookings.

Royal Caribbean

Not only does Royal Caribbean have a great seasonal sale on right now, they’ve also put together a handy guide to help vacationers take advantage of the best deals currently on offer. Plus, in addition to major discounts, loyal Crown & Anchor Society members will receive double the points on all 2021 sailings. That means earning faster perks like priority access, exclusive year-round offers and discounted onboard benefits.

Viking River Cruises

Fan of scenic river cruises? Take advantage of limited time offers from Viking River Cruises. Between now and November 30, guests may receive free international flights with two cruise options: the Grand European Tour and the Waterways of the Tsars. Or enjoy a round trip Paris sailing with reduced airfare as part of the Paris & Heart of Normandy cruise package.

In addition to free or reduced airfare for these packages, Viking River Cruises is discounting the cruises with this special promotion ending on Cyber Monday. While this is a time-sensitive special, the sailings themselves are available for cruises taking place between 2021-2023, so guests can lock in the special with a deposit now to enjoy the great rate while awaiting the return of cruises.

Windstar Cruises

Seattle-headquartered Windstar Cruises has a small-ship focus where each boutique sailing vessel carries less than 350 passengers. For the 2021 cruise season, Windstar is currently promoting a Book Your Bucket List Sale with luxury sailings starting at $1,299 per guest.

The promotion runs between November 26 and December 1 and includes a travel assurance policy for flexible cancellations on 2021 cruises. With limited onboard capacity, guests can sail comfortably on small-scale cruises through the Mediterranean, Tahiti, Alaska or the Caribbean.
