Stunning Lotte Hotel Seattle makes its debut downtown
Lotte Hotels and Resorts, the largest hotel group in Korea, has officially expanded beyond Asia and into a global brand as it just recently launched its Seattle location in the heart of downtown.
With an aim to remain a brand that consistently upholds high quality services and facilities alongside modern furnishings, its latest opening in the Seattle area poses, perhaps, one of the trendiest hotels in the Emerald City.

Lotte Hotel Seattle coins itself as a space where “the present and past coexist.” It’s fitting, given the hotel now flows into The Sanctuary, the oldest Byzantine-style sanctuary in the United States boasting more than 100 years of history.
Combined with the remarkably modern and stylish features of the hotel itself, the retained Sanctuary features picturesque architecture, its famed pipe organ and stained-glass interior as one of the oldest pieces of beaux-art architecture in America, now paired with modern design and innovation.

Seattle’s Lotte Hotel now boasts an entire façade made of an array of stained glass that reflects the buildings around it, shedding a special light on the Seattle skyline. The hotel features 189 artistic and modern guest rooms alongside a private cocktail lounge, signature restaurant, inventive conference rooms, ballrooms, and of course, the spa.
Nestled on 5th Avenue and Marion Street, the hotel is likely to emerge as a lodging gem for downtown Seattle given its proximity to the Space Needle, Pioneer Square, Seattle Central Library, the Sky View Observatory at the Columbia Center, and the Seattle Art Museum.

Tourist attractions like those of Pike Place Market, the Seattle waterfront, the Gum Wall and Seattle Underground Tour, as well as premium shopping malls and popular restaurants are less than a 10-minute walk away.
The opening in Seattle marks Lotte Hotel Company’s 12th international hotel and third in the U.S. following launches in Guam and the New York Palace. It’s a nod-worthy feat amid a remarkably unprecedented year as the expansion comes upon just 10 years since its onset. As of late, the company is on track to open at least one international location per year.

Within the Seattle property, visitors can anticipate 33 suite rooms within its total of 189 rooms on the first through 16th floors of the 44-story building. Paired with creative, modern and clean Korean design, the entire hotel is also influenced by Seattle's own landscape as it features bright additions, a nod to natural landscape and full glass window walls beckoning views of Puget Sound, the Smith Tower and Seattle’s cityscape and surrounding mountains.
